Welcome to the Russian School of Dallas
This year Mathematical Competition Kangaroo will be first time in Dallas.
Russian School of Dallas is hosting International Mathematical Competition Kangaroo and also helps students to prepare for the it.
The competition takes place at the same time throughout the world.
Over 5 million students throughout the world take part in it. However,
the results are not compared between various countries, and prizes are
awarded by the national organizers.
Students in grades 2 through a senior class
of high school - from any school and those who are home-schooled can participate.
The event will take place on March 18, 2010.
* Registration starts on September 15th and ends on January 15th, 2010 or if classes are full.
* Registration fee is $20.00.
* Late registration with late fee, if seats are available is on January 16th -31st , 2010.
* Each participant will get gifts and recognition.
* National Winners will get awards.
RUSSIAN SCHOOL OF DALLAS
Our courses include the Russian language, Russian literature, Russian history and the
Russian method mathematics.
We prepare our students for “Kangaroo,” a notable math competition for children of ages
8 to 18.
Each session children prepare a play in Russian.
Mr.Pierre Vittoz, the Principal of Dallas international School, Mr. N.Y. Babich, Consul
General of Russian Federation, Natalia Ksendzoff, Principal of Russian School of Dallas at
the school’s opening.
A list of Russian books generously donated books on behalf of the Government of Russian
Federation will be available on our website at www.russianschoolofdallas.com
